Hirn Herz Hand Christmas Edition (Munich, Germany)

What is being done? In collaboration with two providers of homeless assistance in Munich, SkF and kmfv, a Christmas campaign was launched in 2023 to bring joy to disadvantaged families in Munich, including approximately 370 children and 230 parents. A special focus was placed on mother-child support, residential groups for girls, supported living, and therapeutic residential groups. The project will be implemented again in 2024, but on a much larger scale. This year, the association is working with all providers of homeless assistance; a total of approximately 2,000 people are to receive gifts.

What was successful? From the initial idea to the delivery of the gifts, the HHH association was fully committed. In 2023, a total of 300 gifts and 310 vouchers were organized through H&Z employees. These were wrapped together and cards written on one afternoon in December. The packages were then delivered to the families in collaboration with SkF and kmfv. In 2024, the association organized, wrapped, and delivered over 2,000 gifts with the active support of H&Z employees.
