Christmas Joy – “Christmas in a Shoebox” is back

At H&Z Management Consulting and our non-profit initiative Hirn Herz Hand eV, we believe that good things only happen when you do them. That's why we don't just donate – we take action.

Since 2023, our Christmas Joy – Christmas in a Shoebox campaign has brought smiles to over 3,600 people in Munich. Together with our partners – AWO Munich-City, HORIZONT eV, Diakonie Munich and Upper Bavaria, Evangelical Relief Organization Munich GmbH, kmfv – Catholic Men's Welfare Association Munich eV, IB Education Center Munich and Social Service of Catholic Women Munich eV – we make Christmas a little warmer for families in difficult circumstances.

From idea to gift – commitment with head, heart and hand

Each gift box is created through genuine collaboration: We identify needs, procure gifts, organize packing processes, and personally deliver the packages to the facilities. In this way, support becomes lived solidarity.

For 2025, we have a new goal: 2,000 lovingly packed Christmas gifts for children and families supported by Munich's homeless services. Packed and delivered by the H&Z team – not just a donation, but a symbol of community spirit.

Why we do this

Our guiding principle remains clear: "There is no good unless you do it." True social cohesion arises where values are translated into action. Christmas Joy demonstrates how commitment emerges when people work together with their heads, hearts, and hands.
