Emil's Little Sun – Therapeutic Playground (Gumry, Armenia)

What is being done? Caritas Vorarlberg, in cooperation with the Armenian Caritas, supports people with disabilities in their integration into society. Emil's Little Sun is a support center for children and young people with disabilities in the town of Gumry. Staff work with children to develop their physical and mental abilities, improve their self-reliance, social skills, and life skills, preparing them for independence.

What was good? In the summer of 2018, the HHH association supported the construction of a playground and therapeutic educational garden in Gumry. The association also contributed to the costs of the playground, soil/plants, building materials, and firewood/kilns.
